About Community
Community is a subdivision of World Youth Value Society (WYVS). Martin Luther King, Jr. said: "what are you doing for others?" Each year, WYVS ask members around the world to get involved with their local communities and take actions to provide volunteer services.

Community service is not just something we do, it's a part of who we are.
Community service is
>>
not about a reward, but is about building a
stronger and better community.
>>
part of being a person to help others who are in need.
>>
making you better understand our humanity.
>> to be part of something bigger than yourself.
>>
enhancing your mind and spirit, fulfilling a meaningful life.
>> getting involved with something you love.
>> giving back to the community you belong to.
>> shaping you to be a better person.
>>
helping you to see what you can do for others.
>> changing your life.
Each WYVS member must be willing to perform at least
30 hours of service to his/her local community or for our
Global Action annually. By doing so:
>> You will help strengthen local communities,
bridge social and cultural differences, and demonstrate your
willingness and effects to make a difference.
>>
"You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in." -
Martin Luther King, Jr.
